For the 2014 – 2015 Migration programme year, Department of Immigration and Border Protection (DIBP) announced in March 2015, that the Skilled Nomination visa places are close to being filled and while applications are still being processed, final decisions may be delayed.
In line with Migration Programme levels, this means the Skilled Nominated category now has limited number of places left for the 2014/2015 programme, leading to longer processing times and once the remaining places are used, the Department will no longer grant further visas in this category during the programme year.
We wish to advise you that processing of these applications will continue although, it may still take some time before final decisions are made. The new programme for 2015 will commence on 1 July 2015.
