- I arrived in Australia November 2003 sponsored by KBR on a subclass 457 visa.
- ISA now PGS assisted JCA to sponsor my second subclass 457 visa in July 2004.
- I obtained the Permanent Residency skilled migration visa application once I was holding the new 457 visa with JCA.
- I was granted permanent residency just before Christmas of 2004!
- I married Vanessa in Nov 2005. I was glad that Noelene had attended the wedding with family and friends in the Queens Park followed by a reception on a boat on the Swan River. (beautiful memories!)
- PGS lodged Vanessa’s Spouse Visa application.
- I obtained Australian Citizenship on 23rd April 2007, a day before Alessandro was born, our first child born in the country.
Nearly 15 years had passed and lots of good things happened!

My internship at Perdaman Global Services under the guidance of Julie Hillier was a highly significant learning experience that enabled me to gain a prodigious competitive advantage in the job market. The program was well structured and resourced, comprising a range of non-trivial projects that were conducted alongside experienced professionals and with a degree of autonomy once the tasks at hand were understood. The ability to ask questions =as needed, put theory into practice and learn kinaesthetically throughout the extensive, yet prompt three month duration proved invaluable in building my professional competencies.
Further to the formal internship was the provision of coaching after the fact. The individually- as well as contextually-relevant knowledge and advice obtained from such sessions was instrumental in enhancing my performance at job interviews, in that all areas of significance could subsequently be addressed thoroughly and with confidence.
I must say I am impressed with your whole team over in the Philippines, not having done this before your staff prepared and screened the workers very well. Once these guys are settled in back home I will be back for some more. Thank you to you and your team.

Before coming to Perdaman Global Services, I had tried to lodge my own application and it had been rejected due to my inexperience.
This made lodging a new application slightly more difficult. I did my homework and rang over 15 migration agents.
As soon as I got on the phone with Kylie Burrows I could tell she knew her job inside out, and that made my decision easy.
