Significant Investor Visa (SIV) statistics as at 30 November 2014 recorded a total of 517 primary visas granted with Expressions of Interest (EOI) submitted through SkillSelect at 1908. 38.6 per cent of applications are less than 3 months old and the expected processing period for the visa is from 6 – 9 months.
The SIV programme launched on 24 November 2012, is a pathway to provide significant migrant investment into Australia under the Business Innovation and Investment visa programme.
