An agreement has been reached to allow 5,000 young applicants from the People’s Republic of China to obtain subclass 462 Work and Holiday Visas to Australia. This arrangement will allow young Chinese people with tertiary education and English skills to experience a unique and once in a lifetime opportunity of having a working holiday in Australia. With a range of details relating to the process for lodgement and timing for applications still under development, the date for the programme to commence has not been fixed.
