My internship at Perdaman Global Services under the guidance of Julie Hillier was a highly significant learning experience that enabled me to gain a prodigious competitive advantage in the job market. The program was well structured and resourced, comprising a range of non-trivial projects that were conducted alongside experienced professionals and with a degree of autonomy once the tasks at hand were understood. The ability to ask questions =as needed, put theory into practice and learn kinaesthetically throughout the extensive, yet prompt three month duration proved invaluable in building my professional competencies. Further to the formal internship was the provision of coaching after the fact. The individually- as well as contextually-relevant knowledge and advice obtained from such sessions was instrumental in enhancing my performance at job interviews, in that all areas of significance could subsequently be addressed thoroughly and with confidence.
