Your subclass 482 visa has been granted to you based on you being sponsored by an employer and your subclass 482 visa is subject to condition 8107. This condition applies to the main applicant only. Condition 8107 provides that you must not:
- cease to be employed by the organisation that sponsored you for the subclass 482 visa
- work in a position or occupation inconsistent with the position or occupation in relation to which the visa was granted; or
- engage in work for another person, or for yourselves, while working for the sponsor.
Therefore, if your employment ceases, your subclass 482 visa may be liable to be cancelled for breach of condition 8107.
