Margaret River Wines paves way into the Chinese market with the opening of their first wine store in Beijing. Capitalising on China’s growing appreciation for wine, Perth-based Margaret River Wines has collaborated with Watershed Premium Wines and 14 other Margaret River producers to establish a 3-storey retail outlet located in a high-end district of Beijing. The initial store is the first of 10 stores, planned for openings throughout China, by the end of 2017. Consistent with the company’s intentions to boost its presence in China, a store will also be opening in Perth, offering Chinese visitors a chance to stock up on the company’s products.
