Australia’s Department of Immigration and Border Protection operate a points system and if you want to know if you have a chance of qualifying for one of these points based visas, you will need to see how many points you might get.
You must score sufficient points to reach the pass mark
The current pass marks is as follows:
- Skilled-Independent (subclass 189) – 60 points
- Skilled-Sponsored (subclass 190) – 60 points
- Skilled-Regional Sponsored (subclass 489) – 60 points
