This visa allows someone in Australia whose only near relatives are living in Australia to live in Australia as a permanent resident.
Eligibility
- You must be related to an Autralian Citizen, Permanent Resident, or an eligible New Zealand Citizen
- You must have no brothers, sisters or parents living outside Australia.If you are married or has a defacto partner, your spouse must also not have any brothers, sisters or parents living outside Australia.
- You must have someone who will provide an assurance of support.
There is a low number of places available in the migration program for this type of visa, therefore the waiting times may be very long.
